As Construction Manager Advisor, Gervais Ventures led all on-site construction activities, overseeing subcontractor coordination, site logistics, and quality control—delivering the project on schedule and under budget.

Gervais Ventures’ Role

As the Construction Manager Advisor and General Contractor, Gervais Ventures played a critical role in bringing the Baldwin facility from concept to completion, working closely with Wunderlich-Malec’s internal design and engineering teams. Their responsibilities extended beyond traditional site oversight to include proactive leadership, coordination, and execution throughout every phase of construction.

Key responsibilities included:

  • Construction Management & Site Supervision:
    GV led day-to-day operations on the 8.5-acre greenfield site, managing labor, equipment, safety protocols, and scheduling to keep the project on track and aligned with the client’s production timelines.

  • Subcontractor Procurement & Coordination:
    From civil and structural work to mechanical, electrical, and finishing trades, GV vetted, selected, and supervised all subcontractors. Their hands-on approach ensured clear communication, consistent quality, and seamless integration of each trade.

  • Budget & Schedule Accountability:
    GV delivered the facility on time and under budget, aligning every milestone with Wunderlich-Malec’s business goals. Through proactive planning, they eliminated costly delays and minimized risk across all stages of construction.
